Dragon Ball Jersey

The seven crystal balls are the object that kicks off the whole series: gathering them is the excuse for everything else. Seven balls, from one star to seven: this is the object that gives its name to the entire series, and here it's shown in full rather than reduced to the usual four-star ball. The rendering aims for glass — translucent orange, reflections, cast shadows — instead of the flat orange you see on most merchandise.

That's what separates a printed pattern from a pattern designed for the piece. The print is all-over, achieved through sublimation: the ink penetrates the fiber instead of sitting on top of it. So there's nothing raised to the touch, no stiff patch on the chest, and no cracking at the folds — armpit, waist, elbow, the three spots where a glued transfer gives out first.

The fit is sport and unisex, true to size. The ribbed collar keeps its shape. Over dark bottoms, the orange gets all the room it needs.
